School-Enterprise Collaboration | Shanghai International Fashion Education Center Delegation Visits Threadify

On November 5th, a delegation from the Shanghai International Fashion Education Center visited Threadify for a study trip and exchange. Accompanied by Ms. Cai throughout, the guests toured Threadify's real-world industry spaces, then sat down with the team for a discussion.

Seeing and Touching in the Designer Co-Creation Space

Guided by Ms. Cai, the guests first entered the Designer Co-Creation Space, where they looked closely at the ready-stock fabrics, trims, and sample garments on display. By touching them by hand, they felt the real texture of the fabrics and saw how fabric turns into a finished garment.

A Look at the Central Sample Room

The group then moved on to the central sample room, where they saw the working environment for garment patternmaking and sample production.

A Practical Conversation

After the tour, both sides sat down together. Ms. Cai gave the guests a brief introduction to Threadify's current business layout and operations, and the conversation then moved on to a practical exchange of views.

Looking Ahead

This visit has laid a good foundation for deeper teaching cooperation and the development of entrepreneurial talent between both sides.

Going forward, Threadify hopes to work with the Shanghai International Fashion Education Center, drawing on a real industry ecosystem to build a practical and incubation platform for young entrepreneurs, one that understands design, masters craftsmanship, and can be put into practice.
