Industry–Academia Collaboration: Threadify Hosts Delegation from Gaojing Education Group & Shaanxi Fashion Engineering College
March 30, 2026 | Event
On March 30, Threadify welcomed a distinguished delegation led by Chairman Lü Ming and Vice Chairman Lü Chao of Gaojing Education Group, alongside Xu Bin, Executive Dean of the School of Fashion at Shaanxi Fashion Engineering College, for an in-depth exchange on advancing industry–education integration.

Guided by Ms. Cai, the delegation toured Threadify Fashion Complex, including the fabric and accessories supermarket, designer co-working space, classrooms, and central sampling room. The visit offered a comprehensive look into Threadify’s practical advancements in fabric digitization, design development, and collaborative education models.

A key highlight of the visit was the introduction of Threadify’s self-developed digital platform by Mr. Wei, Head of Human Resources and Administration. The platform enables users to efficiently search fabrics by category, access detailed composition data, and generate 3D garment visualizations with a single click—bridging the gap between concept and creation. As Ms. Cai noted, this innovation serves as a powerful tool to connect academic learning with real-world industry applications.

During the classroom visit, Dean Xu Bin emphasized the value of Threadify’s integrated ecosystem—combining fabric sourcing, design development, pattern making, and teaching infrastructure—which provides students with a rare, hands-on learning environment.

Looking ahead, both parties expressed strong interest in deepening collaboration through enterprise-based course delivery, where students can engage directly with real supply chains. This approach would enable learners to experience the full apparel development cycle—from material selection and design to pattern making and final product delivery—within a project-based, industry-driven setting. Such initiatives aim to shorten the transition from education to employment while cultivating highly skilled, industry-ready talent.

Ms. Cai reaffirmed Threadify’s commitment to openness and collaboration with academic institutions, encouraging students to immerse themselves in real projects, engage with materials firsthand, and translate classroom knowledge into practical expertise.

This visit marks a promising step forward in the partnership between Threadify, Gaojing Education Group, and Shaanxi Fashion Engineering College. Building on this momentum, both sides will explore further opportunities in curriculum co-development, internships, and joint projects—working together to create a seamless pathway from education to industry and empower the next generation of fashion professionals.
